1) POSITIVE ELECTRODE CLAMPING:
• Our Electrode gripping is thru Positive clamping with hydraulic cylinder. This technology for electrode gripping is more safer and sturdier as compared to pneumatic type of clamping using leverage.

2) HYDRAULIC MEACHNISM FOR ELECTRODE MOVEMENT:
• Hydraulic mechanism for electrode movement is having minimum moving parts as compared to Winch motor mechanism and hence is less of maintenance.
• The Proportional control valve for the system offered shall be imported of BOSCH MAKE and balance components shall be of REXROTH or standard reputed make.

3) SHOP ASSEMBLY & TESTING: All components shall be sent is assembled condition, tested and inspected at our shop, reducing erection work at site. Except for the hydraulic piping all the subassemblies shall be required to be fitted on the foundation and does not require any additional work at site.

4) FLEXIBLE JUMPERS: Electrical conductors like LV Bus are water cooled with Flexible Jumpers on transformer end.

5) GUIDE ROLLERS: (Combination of 200 & 160mm dia. )
Mast Assembly shall be supported from all four side on top and bottom of Box support with double guide rollers, giving absolute smooth movement of the mast and hence minimizing vibration and maintenance.

6) ELECTRODE REGULATION SYSTEM – DIGITAL ELECTRODE REGULATION BASED ON PLC AND PC BASED HMI.

• Three independant impedance controller
• Superimposed overcurrent controller
• Setpoint memory with 8 values for each combination of upto 32 transformer taps and 8 reactor taps
• Automatic start of furnace.
• Prevention of electrode breaking by touch down on non-conducting material
• Indication of short electrode and malfunction of mechanical system
• Online adaptation of impendance setpoint
• Electrode movement by hydraulic system
